Being eccentric is synonymous with being nonconformist, extraordinary and uncommon.
I have come to see that being real is rare, therefore being true to yourself causes you to stand out from the common people who have conformed to the pattern of the world at the expense of their soul.
Thus, it is a rare privilege to see a soul in a world where everyone wears a mask.
It is a lonely path, but I believe it is the narrow path that leads to life in terms of being connected to your true self, as opposed to the broad way that leads to destruction in terms of losing connection to one’s true self, which Jesus may have alluded to.
