How to hack your negative programming – Kamaro Brown

In this podcast interview between Russell Brand and Karamo Brown, I find it commendable for them to be open and honest on the subject of dealing with toxic masculinity and its root causes, such as having been hurt or abused by their father since childhood.

I totally agree with the importance of taking care of our mental health the same way we do for our physical health, by consciously working on reminding ourselves that it is OK to be human and acknowledge any emotional trigger causing sadness, anxiety or anger, in order to allow healing and forgiveness to take place, and understand that it is an ongoing process of working through the difficult emotions.

It really takes much courage to be vulnerable but ultimately it is liberating and empowering to experience deep healing from the inside out.
